kids rock academy

At the moment we are looking for a property to rent in a suitable area which would give Kids Rock a base. The aim would be to create not only a welcoming environment for children to come and play music but also use as a club where they can come and meet old and new friends. We could supply a venue for Birthday Parties and also have a friendly drop in cafe. During the day classes and social events for adults will be held giving the place a real community feel.

Kids Rock Academy is designed to provide children with a more intensive education in music.
Unlike the after school club, which is only for primary school ages, these classes are available for 6 to 18 year olds.

There will be classes split into suitable age groups. Each child will participate in lessons of singing, dance, drama and instrument tuition. These classes will rotate over the course of a term so students get the same amount of time spent on each subject.

We would encourage our students to take part in all areas of tuition but by the end of a term they could concentrate more on their preferred areas temporarily leaving subjects which they do not feel they excel at. Every year the children will perform to enable their parents and friend see how they are improving and hopefully once every 2 years a show on a larger scale will be put on.

Kids Rock UK appreciates the need for positive self awareness and music is just one area in which children can learn these basics skills. It gives them alternative hobbies and a chance to meet friends that share a common interest.

We will always strive to remain affordable and even at the moment we are looking into ways where funding may be available for parents on low incomes.

Although we are still looking for property at the moment, it is never to early to register and interest in this venture and your support is always welcome.
