Starting in 2009 we have brand new and exciting Kids Rock schools opening. These classes will be
on Saturday mornings and be more intensive than the after school clubs, giving the children more time and coaching on all aspects of perfomance and music.
There will be an hour of vocal coaching, an hour of dance and an hour of performance / drama. The performance and drama hour will some weeks alternate between that and instrument training, so the children can also learn to play. This will prepare them for a yearly performance.
The classes will be split into age groups:
6 - 8 year olds
9 - 12 year olds
13 - 16 year olds and suitable for boys or girls.
Each class will be taught by experienced tutors in their fields (all with enhanced disclosure and public liability insurance.) whilst having fun with their friends at the same time.
The music and musicals performed will be suitable for all age groups and unlike other companies we will not just solely concentrate on 'musicals', sometimes choosing to work on specific songs.
The cost is £5 per hour (£15 per morning) and should be paid at the beginning of each term. There is no joining fee however, you must enrol your child for at least a half term.
